The Alaska State Medical Board (SMB) has proposed updated regulations that will take our PA practice back in time and we need a presence to push back.

There are two options to engage (or both). You can register to give oral comments during the public hearing and/or send a letter voicing your concerns and the impact to your practice if these rules were to move forward as proposed. AKAPA is working hard to ensure PA practice in the state does not go backwards by both addressing these regulations and pursuing legislation. We need your help on both!

There will be a Zoom hearing on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 8:30am. The hearing will be open for public comment but you need to pre-register.
