The Physician/PA Health Committee (PHC) is run by the Alaska State Medical Association (ASMA) and provides Doctors and PAs a resource when dealing with alcoholism and/or drug abuse, or other emotional and cognitive impairments.  They do not diagnose or treat but help facilitate assistance as providers are working to restore impaired function, safely return to practice, or become licensed in the state.
