Jessica Stevens Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship program honors the memory of Jessica Stevens, PA-C from Talkeetna. From 1993 until 2007 at the time of her death due to a motor vehicle accident, Jessica cared for patients in the Upper Susitna Valley. From her humble beginnings in a makeshift clinic with borrowed and expired supplies to the state of the art Sunshine Community Health Center of today, she practiced medicine. She maneuvered federal grants to fund a rural medical clinic to benefit her neighbors. More information about this exceptional woman, PA, mother, and human being can be found here and here.
